The SAS Intern Program will allow you to partner with leadership to work on business-critical projects resulting in an immediate impact to SAS and our customers. Gain real world accounting experience by joining one of our SAS Finance teams.
This person will perform accounting functions in support of the Oracle ERP system, Markview, SAS FM and other systems.
Applications include Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Account Reconciliations, Accounts Receivable, Project Accounting and Revenue Recognition. Responsibilities will include processing invoices, inputting data, performing routine system testing, reconciling accounts, researching technical accounting guidance and performing special projects as assigned.
This is a year round internship and will be located in our world headquarters in Cary, North Carolina.
During the school year, the intern will work an average of 15-20 hours a week, and have the opportunity to work full time during the summer. The Accounting Operations team plans for this internship position to last approximately 18 months.
University students only, please, studying Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related fields. It must be an accredited program.
Must not be graduating prior to May 2018
Knowledge of accounting principles and methods
Strong systems aptitude, including experience with Windows and Microsoft Office. (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and/or SharePoint).
This internship based in Cary, NC. To be eligible, students must be enrolled in a degree seeking program, and able to work in the Cary office for all work hours during the school year and summer.

Problem solving capabilities
Highly organized with attention to detail and accuracy.
An interest in technology, specifically in big data analytics.
GPA of 3.0 or higher. Going to class is #vital.
