Steelcraft is a manufacturer of Hollow Metal Doors & Frames, located in Blue Ash, Ohio. We are a division of Allegion PLC, whose mission is to “Make the World a Safer Place”. Steelcraft employs 700 people in the Cincinnati area in a large scale manufacturing facility, with a 75 year history of providing great customer service. Allegion provides college students with challenging co-op/internship assignments and valuable exposure to our company's senior leaders. Through meaningful work projects, our co-op/interns are empowered to build diverse skill sets and a strong foundation for a successful and fulfilling career with Allegion. The program runs from (Define Term/length). Students participate in a leadership speaker series, professional development sessions and work on projects supporting our charitable partners. Upon completion of a successful co-op/internship many students are converted to full time opportunities within our early career programs. Interns are paid $0.00 an hour with a $2500 housing stipend to students who qualify.


  • Pursuing a BS/BA degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field

  • Completion of Junior year at start of internship

  • Overall 3.0 GPA or above

  • Demonstrated leadership skills

  • Strong analytical skills and comfort with complex data

  • Resiliency and ability to adapt quickly

  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products

  • Brief description of project/types of projects expected

  • Conducting times studies, developing work instructions, and standard work

  • Evaluation and implementation of projects for consolidation of distribution center footprint

  • Development and maintenance of PFEP (plan for every part) database

  • Design and evaluation of material delivery procedures and routes

  • Establishing/Evaluating kanban levels for supplier purchased parts
