Penn’s iGaming division was started in the fall of 2015. The focus is to promote our play for fun social casino games,,and a for money online horse wagering platform, Hollywood Races. It is a small, dynamic team that is growing.This is the perfect opportunity for someone who wants to be a part of all aspects of marketing and has a passion for entrepreneurship and a start-up culture.
We are currently recruiting for a Marketing Intern to provide marketing support to the iGaming Marketing Team. This is a paid internship offering a flexible work schedule (8:30 am - 5:15 pm, Monday thru Friday). This is a position which will run from January thru May 2017 and will offer approximately 20 hours of work each week during this Spring semester. The iGaming office is in Conshohocken, PA adjacent to the train station with easy access from I-76.
Your daily responsibilities include:
Provide support for the Marketing Department
Assist with the following projects:
Help brainstorm marketing campaigns across various mobile apps
Assist with special projects and social media execution
Content review/proofreading and copywriting
Answer customer support tickets
Various ad hoc analytics reports
To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma and minimum of 2 years of college course-work completed with Marketing or another relevant concentration as a declared major.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
Ability to apply to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must be proficient with Microsoft Windows, Excel, Access and Word.
