Job Description:

Bring your passion for people to Best Buy! In the coming months, Best Buy will be launching several new and exciting service based programs to our customers as part of our Best Buy 2020 strategy. Our In-Home Advisor (IHA) program is one of the first examples of these new programs. In-Home Advisor has been piloted in select markets within the US, and we are now scaling it up for launch across the US! As a Specialist – In Home Operations , you will work directly with clients, In-Home Design Managers and corporate support teams to evaluate and create necessary process improvements and tools to delight clients, and will be an ambassador for the In-Home consultation strategy.

This includes:

  • National scheduling support of In-Home Consultation leads submitted through stores, online and over the phone.

  • Communication – Delivers superior a customer experience through communicating with the client and In-Home Design Manger to schedule appointments and contact customers as needed.

  • Ensure customer is receiving support through the most appropriate Best Buy channel to ensure a timely solution. (In-Home Consultation, Geek Squad, Best Buy Direct)

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

Client Service and fulfillment

  • Single point of contact for calls received from the national 1-800 number for the In-Home consultation strategy. Additionally, responsible for scheduling leads submitted via the store and

  • Arranges and coordinates in-home consultation schedules, meetings and appointments for the In-Home Consultation team in the most efficient way in service of the client and the In-Home Design Manger

  • Determines most appropriate channel to solve customer needs and facilitates handoff. (e.g., Geek Squad, Best Buy Direct, ECC)

  • Utilizes CRM to complete all scheduling tasks and client information updates

Analysis and Decision Support

  • Responsible for increasing knowledge and awareness of market leaders on the effectiveness of store lead generation

  • Utilizes Field In-Home Operations Specialist to solve problems and where local leadership involvement is required

  • Creates reporting as needed in support of creating efficiency for the In-Home Consultation process

  • Shares data and insights with Field Leadership and Corporate

Administrative support

  • Manages the various administrative functions within the In Home Design Team

  • Oversees department communication

  • Produces high quality reporting and presentation materials using various software packages

Basic Requirements (You must meet or exceed ALL basic requirements to be eligible)

  • 1+ year experience in phone based customer service

  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency

  • Ability to work a schedule that may include evenings and weekends

  • Able to use multiple computer systems and toggle between windows simultaneously which includes being able to talk and type at the same time

Preferred Experience

  • Ability to read/write/speak Spanish fluently
