Laura McCarthy Realtors is seeking a fulltime Marketing Lead. This position is responsible for the advertising and marketing needs of the company and real estate agents. This position will use standard advertising tools, social media, and eMarketing outlets to brand the company, agents, and current listings. In addition, this role manages the images and data necessary for new listings and updates all systems and documents as needed.

Advertising/Marketing

  • Plan and implement advertising placement with primary emphasis on print and digital; review and assess the ongoing digital package.

  • Manage the design, writing, photography, and overall production of all ads

  • Review proofs and manage deadlines with each publication.

  • Review, organize, and edit photos.

  • Procure photography/video services from approved vendors.

  • Maintain relationships with key publications.

  • Submit press releases on new agents/office staff.

  • Keep agents apprised of all advertising opportunities

  • Create communications materials that reinforce company branding.

  • Review legal/company requirements on all listing documents and advertisings.

  • Track special advertising opportunities.

  • Manage advertising budget:

  • Advertising invoices

  • Corporate expenditures

  • Agent expenditures

  • Manage inventory database and provide weekly and monthly reporting

  • Track Open Houses and provide weekly Open House sheet

  • Technical-Quark Express, Filemaker Pro, Photoshop, Word, Excel, Outlook, Issuu

Agent Branding

  • Educate agents on new advertising opportunities.

  • Assist agents with branding, advertising, and marketing of their real estate business and current listings.

  • Assist agents with promotions and creative ideas for direct mail, ads, webpages, and other marketing materials.

  • Develop custom ads for individual agents as requested; reserve space, create layouts, write/submit copies and proofs.

Social Media/Website Management/Newsletter/Online magazine/Slideshows

  • Update home page weekly—slideshow, featured property and agent, online magazine

  • Upkeep/update lauramccarthy.com and agent web pages

  • Post daily on social media channels-property or create/post other content

  • Design monthly newsletter.

  • Design and upload online magazine

  • Create slideshows for upper end homes and upload to You Tube, etc.

  • Upload drove videos to You Tube, etc.

Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Admin, Marketing, Advertising, or Graphic Design preferred

  • Entry-level (1-3 years) business administration, marketing, advertising, and/or graphic design experience required

  • Very strong computer and Internet competence with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Photoshop, Quark Express required; experience with social media platforms necessary

  • Ability to communicate with different audiences to convey message successfully and to change gear quickly to support different customers

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment, as well as manage deadlines and time constraints

  • Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills required

  • Customer-focused, delivery-oriented, ability to work in a team environment
