You are …a Communications- Channel Planning Intern who wants to join our Washington, DC office. In this role, the Communications intern will assist the Channel Planning team in one of the following areas for the fall semester: Research and Planning, Media Planning and Buying and Digital Strategy .
Duties and responsibilities include:
Contribute to drafting and copy editing social media posts
Maintain, edit and manage editorial calendars
Develop periodic analytics reports
Compile and organize digital research and write backgrounder-type documents
Various other tasks to assist in superior client service
A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program
Previous digital/media experience is preferred, however not necessary
Strong understanding of digital and online trends is very important
Bonus points for experience with various digital analytics for publishing tools such as Google Analytics, Crimson Hexagon, Sprout Social or Hootsuite. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is an added plus
Availability to work part-time or full-time employment this fall (15-20 hours per week minimum) from September 5 to December 8, 2017
